What do you do for work outside of being a busy mom?
I am a cosmetologist! I’ve been in the industry going on 6 years. I own my own salon suite, Copper Crown, and I have specialized in extensions and color. I am a licensed NBR stylist. People come to me for the hair of their dreams, and Natural Beaded Rows helps them achieve this. I love making women feel confident and empowered because when they feel these things, they can make powerful moves and it’s so fun to watch.
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance with home, work, and creativity?
I have to handle balance from day to day and write things down. Starting with what’s most important, family, and prioritizing from there what’s most important to follow. I do have many projects and passions and I still get myself in trouble for maybe spending too much time in other areas. It really is a balancing act. I’m not great at this, I’ll be honest. Day to day helps me stay on track and allows me to set realistic goals on what I can do for my family now and I feel it helps so much!
What is something you do every day to keep yourself motivated?
My husband and I love to talk about our future. We obsess over it. Putting our wants out there, I’ve noticed has helped many of our goals come to life. So at the end of each day, we just talk. Ask each other how certain things are going and what we are going to do the next day to be one step closer. In doing this, so many goals have been knocked out this last year and we have even higher goals this year. So I’d say our nightly talks and speaking things to existence are a huge motivator. And because we always have something new to report, that keeps my motivation up and going.
What's your favorite self-care ritual?
For self-care, I look forward to my out-of-town nail appointment. I love the thirty minutes of silence to think or listen to a book, and then treating myself to my gel nail appointment. It’s the best!
Would you share a personal motto or favorite quote with us?
“Keep Moving Forward” is a personal motto for me. I was adopted at a really young age. This is cheesy but I really resonate with the Disney movie Meet the Robinsons. In short, I am where I need to be for a reason, and I must get to work. Our circumstances can be difficult, but we have the power to change them. What a beautiful gift that is. I’ve always held that motto near and dear to my heart, so it’s what I do!
What's one item you always carry in your purse?
My planner! I would be lost without it! I have to WRITE anything and everything! My ideas, inspiration, appointments—it really is my everything.
How would you describe your personal style in one word?
Trendy-Feminine. I love to follow the trends and being bold, trying something new while still wearing my dresses. I can never have too many dresses!
What's your go-to RP dress?
My go to RP dress… I have to pick just one?!? I do have an RP dress I ALWAYS want to wear rain or shine and it’s the Yellow Puff Sleeve Midi Dress that was released in Spring of 2019. It’s just absolute sunshine, the perfect yellow, and I feel most happy and pretty when wearing it! And I love that I got to take pictures with Rach in this dress. It’s special for so many reasons.

What do you do for work outside of being a busy mom?
Until last year I was pulling double duty, working in the wine and spirits industry as a brand manager while simultaneously writing my fashion blog. After seven years of juggling both, I finally went full time with my blog and have never been happier.
With all your passions and projects, how do you find balance with home, work, and creativity?
Finding balance between work and home life has always been tough, so I’ve made it a major priority. I start every day by making a list, including time allotments so I can hold myself to micro deadlines. After my office day or shoots, it’s always dedicated family time from school pick up to bedtime. After the girls are asleep, I put in a few more hours writing or editing posts. I am most creative in the morning, so any creative planning or scoping out big picture ideas usually happens over my early cup of coffee.
What is something you do every day to keep yourself motivated? What’s your favorite self-care ritual?
I have finally gotten on a very steady exercise schedule and putting in an hour of yoga at home in the mornings has helped me in every other aspect of my day. I try to push myself beyond my comfort zone in each class, and it has made me feel so much more energized and motivated. I 100% consider this time to be my best opportunity for self-care. (A late-night facial steamer and Netflix combo is also good for the soul though!)
Would you share a personal motto or favorite quote with us?
“The days are long, but the years are short.” I still get emotional every time I think of those words and remind myself of them when I am having a tough day with the girls, or something just isn’t going right. Life flies by so fast, it really is important to remember to put the little things into the right perspective.
What’s one item you always carry in your purse?
Lip balm! I always joke that if I had to go on Survivor, my one item that I can bring on the island with me would be Laneige Glowy balm.
How would you describe your personal style in one word?
CHIC honay! Lol.
What’s your go-to RP dress?
It’s so hard to choose just one, but I absolutely loved this year’s holiday collection with the red lace midi dress! This style is so perfect for countless occasions and multiple seasons.

I am a very patient, calm and positive person. This helps me face all obstacles!
What do you do every day to stay motivated?
At the moment I'm not going to the gym that I love, but I usually try to stay active to stay motivated!

Living a light, free of charge, helps us to be happier and see the good in everything.

My family is my everything. I often find myself busy spending time with them and creating content for my Instagram. I’ve been an influencer since 2017.
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance between home, work and creativity?
I could be better for sure, but I try to keep a schedule, set goals and have specific time to work, to have fun and to relax.
What do you do every day to stay motivated?
I love to get at least eight hours of sleep. That really helps me to get up feeling energized and ready for all the tasks I need to get done. I also love to exercise and listen to any uplifting messages or podcast.

I love getting ready for bed and taking good care of my skin. It’s my favorite self-care ritual.

Utah is so dry that I always need to carry a chapstick or lip moisturizer to keep them hydrated

What do you do for work outside of being a busy mom?
Taking photos of everything keeps me very busy, I love “freezing moments” and I would say my job title is a professional photographer :)
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance between home, work and creativity?
I’m not going to lie, a lot of times I find myself with no creativity and busy with keeping my house clean and being a good wife. The best way for me to balance it all is to write everything on my calendar and have meetings with my husband and sisters to keep myself accountable.
What’s your favorite self-care ritual?
I do go to the gym every day and I do play a daily game on my phone called “Covet” and I love it! If you haven’t played yet you should go download; it’s so fun.

What do you do for work outside of being a busy mom?
I’m a hairdresser! I worked a lot before having my first child and when he turned 1, I decided to be with him more. Now I’m expecting a baby girl and I am so excited.
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance between home, work and creativity?
I love new opportunities and learning something new every day. During this second pregnancy I’ve been through some challenging moments. I’m regaining my energy little by little. I’m so grateful to my husband for helping me. I need to dedicate more to my upcoming projects and my kids!
What do you do every day to stay motivated?
What helps to motivate me is using essential oils, exercise, and eating healthy. I am also strengthened to know that one of my duties here on Earth is to take care of my family.
What’s your favorite self-care ritual?
I love to take care of my skin and hair.

What do you do for work outside of being a busy mom?
I am a pediatrician! Specifically, I am a pediatric hospitalist. I take care of kids in the hospital who are too sick to go home.
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance with home, work and creativity?
Balancing life is an art form that I’m still learning and it changes as my life changes! What I’ve learned over the years is no matter what you chose to prioritize first, a balanced life involves being flexible and having a positive mindset. Set your goals, accomplish as much as you can and learn to appreciate everything you have done!
Life is messy and there’s always more you can do. It’s too short to focus on everything you’re missing or to compare yourself to someone else. Everyone has their own struggles and honestly, there’s no grade in life. So work hard, play harder and learn to love every moment of it.
What is something you do every day to keep yourself motivated? What is your favorite self-care ritual?
Although I dread it every time, working out has been the most effective way to keep me motivated. It doesn’t have to be long--just 20-30 minutes a day and I always feel accomplished when I’m done! Although I dread working out, it happens to also be my favorite self-care ritual because of how I feel when I’m done!
Would you share a personal motto or favorite quote with us?
Whenever someone at work asks me how my shift went, I always say “Great! it could have been worse,” and I truly mean it.
No matter how tired, busy, emotionally drained or chaotic life can be, I always try to remember that there’s always someone having a worse day than me. It’s a gentle reminder to myself to always love and appreciate everything I have in my life.
What’s one item you always carry in your purse?
I always try to carry a book in my bag. Reading is becoming a lost art. Instead of spending time on my phone, I try to spend more time reading during down time. Whether it’s a fictional adventure or a nonfiction essay, reading has made my life richer in every way.

Feminine.

I love Rachel’s solid colored lace dresses! They have the most flattering lines that make you feel feminine, sexy and beautiful. Perfect for brunches, dates and work meetings!

What do you do for work?
I'm a full-time content creator!
With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance with home, work, and creativity?
Thankfully my passion and projects is my full time job haha! But I won't lie, finding a balance can be a bit of a struggle, but I feel it's important to practice work-life balance. So I've been trying to do better with scheduling things out and organizing it in a planner. Works wonders!
What is something you do every day to keep yourself motivated? What's your favorite self-care ritual?
I appreciate a good ol' morning devotion to set the tone for the day. Something else that's been helping keep me centered is learning to be ok with stepping away from a task that's difficult or stressful and giving myself a moment to regroup or take a breather before I resume.

With all your passions and projects, how do you find a balance with home, work, and creativity?
While there's never a perfect balance each day, keeping perspective on what is most important helps me guide daily decisions. I believe in Faith, Family, Friends and Work. I've also found adding everything to the calendar that's of importance is key. Picking up carpool or a date night is scheduled in the calendar just like a board meeting. I've found if it's not programmed in, it often doesn't happen.
What is something you do every day to keep yourself motivated?
Write out your goals and work towards them daily. Sometimes you move an inch towards them, sometimes a mile. It's about progress, not perfection.
What's your favorite self-care ritual?
My nightly skincare routine: cleanse, GloPRO, retinol and moisturize.
