I always love the tradition of taking photos each Christmas season for our annual family holiday card! I love that it is such a great way to keep us up to date with family photos and it is always so fun to see how the kids change from year to year in the pictures! This year we designed our holiday cards on Vistaprint.com and I love the way they turned out!
When I’m thinking about our new card each year, I first try to decide on a theme. This year I wanted our card to be dressy, super classic and traditional Christmas. One of my most favorite locations to take pictures in Salt Lake City is the Grand America Hotel downtown which perfectly matched our theme.
The trickiest part of photoshoot day is always getting everyone ready and out the door for the shoot! Pro tip...

-get yourself ready before you wake your kids up
-steam and press the night before
-bring some treats so your littles give you their smile ;)
The best part about creating our holiday cards this year, was how easy it was to select a beautiful card and make it come to life on Vistaprint.com. The website is super easy to navigate and upload your own photos to. I decided on the images I wanted to use, uploaded them to the Vistaprint site, and scrolled through the foil printed card options. I knew I wanted our cards to be simple and let the images stand out, but I LOVE the raised gold foil detail for the wording.
I added on a few fun extras to my order as well! I got some envelope seal stickers for a nice touch, and also had return labels printed that had our picture on them as well. All of the little extra details added a special touch to each card and made them feel very elevated.
