Do you ever feel like your jewelry box is just a huge tangled mess that you don't even want to attempt to pull a necklace out in fear of the one hour untangling process?
Yes, that is me!! I hardly ever wear my long necklaces because they looked like this...
Frightening I know.
I figured with fall coming I better get a handle on my out-of-control jewelry and organize them so I can maybe wear them every once in awhile.
(and yes I was untangling for an hour).
So I put my creative skills to the test and came up with this as my necklace holder? I'm not sure what to call it.
And in the picture above you can see my lovely signs I made and (drew) hung.
For the necklace holder thingy (still don't know what to call it) I went to Hobby Lobby, bought a pre- cut piece of wood for $7.99 and some door knobs, each ranging from $2.00-4.00
Next I used some Robbins egg blue paint that I already had from one of my previous projects and painted the wood board.
The husband measured and drilled 5 holes in the board for the knobs to screw into, along with two holes in the back for hanging purposes.
This project cost me about $27.00 and rescued me from hours and hours of untangling.
On another note...
I have had 5, yes that's right FIVE, headband orders this week!! Wahoo! Here is one I just mailed off today.
Have a great weekend!
