My home is decorated for the holidays and I wanted to give a tour to help inspire your festive Christmas décor…let me show you around with a little holiday home tour!
My Entryway...
First the staircase—one of my favorite features of the home. It is such a focal point when you enter our house, so I love to dress it up with garlands, a few gold sleigh bells, and simple yet elegant velvet ribbons. Next to the entrance, we have a little vignette that I have decorated with some RP décor from last season and our RP wreath (sold out). You will also see center pieces with cedar greenery and berry stems in each room, and this added touch really helps to tie each space together.
My Formal Entertaining Space...
Our living room, or rather formal entertaining space (because it’s yet to be furnished), elevates the entire holiday decor story. I love to play with textures and different heights, and I love that the Christmas trees bring magic into a space that usually sits empty. I found my long needle flocked trees at a local shop in SLC that has since closed, but I found another set for you online here!
Our Family Room and Kitchen
I wanted to keep my family room and kitchen ultra-traditional so I went with a Frazier Fur tree from Balsam hill and used our faux cedar RP garlands for the fireplace. I love the simplicity of the decor and the understated impact the life-like greens bring into these two rooms. The cozy details like festive faux fur pillows and blankets from our RP Holiday Home Collection give the space a welcoming feel.
My Bedroom...
I love bringing the warmth of cedar greenery into my room; when snow falls this space becomes so magical with all the natural lighting. You can see more of my bedroom here, but don't you love how these crystal candlesticks dress up the mantle? Play with the height and shape of your accents; I especially love the more tapered look of some of these pieces.
I hope this helped inspire you and your home for the holidays! Tag me @racheparcell and show me all the RP Home Collection that's dressing up your home for the holiday season.
