Happy Monday! Every year my family and I escape the freezing Utah weather to soak up some sunshine in Maui (our favorite place on earth)! I got a lot of questions about where we stayed and how we liked it. I've actually stayed at this resort every time I've gone to Maui (we've been coming since I was 8 years old)! This time we booked through HomeAway and stayed in this amazing rental! We had six adults and three babies so basically we were a circus everywhere we went. Car seats, strollers, cribs, blow up beach toys...and it fit us all perfectly! It has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer (that came in handy, Isla Rose loves to have blow outs). Before we checked in to our HomeAway, we stopped at Costco and stocked our fridge and pantry with snacks and lots of Diet Coke! With extra bedrooms, a full kitchen, a BBQ and a balcony overlooking the ocean we literally had everything we needed!

I always get asked for my traveling tips with a baby and a family and I would say my #1 tip is to stay somewhere that is family and baby friendly. Somewhere where there's lots of space (for cribs and strollers and toys) and somewhere that has a kitchen!

If you are traveling somewhere and are looking for a vacation home rental (which can sometimes be difficult to find) I would definitely browse HomeAway! We've used HomeAway a lot now that our family has out grown hotel rooms. They have properties just about anywhere in the world (remember when my entire family stayed in this cabin in Deer Valley over Thanksgiving?!). If you book through HomeAway for your next vacation, definitely let me know what you think!

xo, Rach

Thanks to HomeAway for partnering with us for this experience!
