With all the craziness of travel, school activities, and home and garden projects, Mother's Day is one of those spring holidays that can definitely sneak up on busy families. As a mom myself, I don't need a big gesture or present to make the day meaningful, but I LOVE to give presents to my mom, sisters, and friends to celebrate the occasion. (And of course, it's always so sweet when my kids bring me something they made at school or church, or when Drew surprises me with breakfast and a day of relaxation... The small gestures are often the most meaningful!)
