We're finally here—the end of 2020...
It’s been a stressful year and weird holiday season, but we can finally set our sights on a new chapter of growth, change, and adventure. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready to make this one a countdown to remember!
Quarantine or not, I love to host a small NYE party at home...
My sister and I have made this a tradition for several years now, so tonight’s festivities will actually feel like a return to normality for our little pod. We’ve already picked out our shimmery party outfits and matched our minis; reserved our annual takeout feast; and made a brand new setlist for dancing until midnight. It’s our favorite way to eat, relax, and celebrate the New Year with our favorite people, big and small.
As far as dinner goes, we’re planning on our usual: a seafood spread from Market Street Grill (it’s a Utah favorite) for the grownups and a stack of Domino’s Pizza for the kiddos. We call it our “Sequins and Lobster” feast (even though it’s always crab legs, haha!), and we try to make the whole thing feel extra bougie and festive. I’ll also be whipping up a yummy batch of mocktails and my favorite charcuterie selections for grazing—everything we need to relax, indulge, and spoil ourselves before we reset for the New Year.
Thank You for Your Love in 2020!
As always, this New Year’s is another chance to express my gratitude to my extended RP family. Whether you’re a new or longtime reader, near or far, an internet friend or a friend I’ve met IRL—I’m so honored that you all have been with me through another year of growth, creativity, and adventure. You’ve been sweet and supportive, cheerful and inspiring, and such a joy to connect with each and every day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
I’m so grateful for every challenge and triumph—big or small—and can’t wait to see what we have in store for this next chapter. Happiest New Year’s to my RP family!
